Reviews for 1001 GED Practice Questions For Dummies

5 star review - Bardo Smanthort - December 18, 2016

"I think this book is a great way to get ready for the high school equivalency test. I've always found books in the Dummies series to be comprehensive and organized. This one is no different. There are also sections on how to use the book, practice tests with answers and explanations, and how to prepare for the test and do your best. I'm not taking the test, but I really enjoyed this book. I learned or refreshed my knowledge on many topics. My kids ask me for help with their homework sometimes and I just don't remember some of the things they ask me about. This book is a great resource for me to brush up and help them rather than searching the internet fruitlessly for a clear explanation. This is the kind of book that I will continue to pick up now and then because I enjoy having and maintaining knowledge."

"I think the explanations are one of the best things about this book! This book would be invaluable to any person wanting to take this exam. Not only is this a great book for students, but I think it would be a wonderful resource for libraries, parents, and social service programs that help teens and struggling adults."

5 star review - Lynrie - October 23, 2016

"Tutoring and encouraging adults to get their high school education completed has been a personal endeavor since early days in college. The materials, subject matter and testing have changed over the years. I can remember huge binders for students studying for their GED back in the day. I bought a GED prep book and trialed this one. I like this one more for independent study and review. Some folks tend to get overwhelmed by thick books and the computer learning available. This book can direct focus for those who need brushing up on previously deficient subject areas. I have two folks that need the different approaches to accomplish their goals. I'll keep updating as we get through it and ready for testing."
